About Me

I am an integrative practitioner and accredited member of The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy. I work within the BACP ethical framework for good practice.

My approach to therapy is based on psychodynamic principles. This means I look at how you are feeling and relating to others now, but also take into consideration your unconscious processes and your past relationships and experiences and how they may be influencing your present feelings and behaviour. I also draw from other modalities including Person centered, Transactional Analysis, and Gestalt approaches.

Throughout the years I have gained invaluable experience working with a diverse range of students of all ages from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I have experienced a rich tapestry of learning working therapeutically with students on undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses from the Faculty of Creative Arts, Health and Social Sciences, Business and Education and Sport.

I am a registered practitioner with BUPA WPA and AVIVA for private health insurance.

I also have a strong interest in film and psychoanalysis.

My Qualifications

Masters Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Goldsmiths College, University of London

Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, University of Hertfordshire

Integrative Diploma in Supervision, CPPD Counselling School
